Department Achievements


Of assets owned, particularly in the form of curriculum, educational facilities, as well as the quality of expertise from the academic staff, s UI is the only department within the University of Indonesia who first accredited by National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) on beginning in 1997 with a B. Recognition of accreditation is more perfect, when in July 2000 BAN-PT has confirmed the value of A for all the effort and hard work of all academic staff and administrative staff from the Department s UI. While the graduate education program in 2006 has successfully received accreditation A. UI sec obtain accreditation with the rating of A (Very Good) in the 2nd period of the assessment, valid until 2010.

In 1999, the sec-UI when it was still called the Department of Chemical Engineering (TGP-UI) received a grant from the Higher Education / World Bank called the Quality of Undergraduate Education (Que) for develop RAISE (relevance, academic atmosphere, internal management and organization, sustainability, and efficiency and productivity).

5. Faculty research results, developed in collaboration with investors become commercial products have been successfully performed with a commercial product BioAd. BioAD information has been entered Warta University of Indonesia in November-December 2002 and February-March 2003 and Tabloid Automotive No. 28 dated April 21, 2003 and Gatra Magazine, Science and Technology July 26, 2003 edition.
